Andrew Warren Announces Over $50,000 raised in First 27 Days

Tampa – In an email Tuesday morning, Andrew Warren thanked his supporters and informed them that his campaign for State Attorney had raised over $50,000 in just 27 days from more than 150 donors.

“I got into this race because all parents deserve a safe place to raise their children.  We need a State Attorney who’s dedicated to justice and will fight every day for the rights of victims and families,” Warren said.  “I told our supporters that I needed their help to continue my service.  They answered because they know my record, and they know how hard I’ll fight for Hillsborough.

Warren holds a distinct title in local Hillsborough politics: fastest Democrat ever to raise $50,000 and fastest first time candidate from either party to raise $50,000 in over a decade.

“I spent my career fighting for our most vulnerable citizens at the Department of Justice.  I’m excited to bring that same enthusiasm and work ethic to the State Attorney’s office.”

Warren was an attorney with the Justice Department before running for office.  He prosecuted fraud and fought for some of Florida’s most vulnerable citizens, including Medicare fraud cases in the tens of millions of dollars and Ponzi schemes reaching $7 billion.
